How to register

  1. The User downloads the App from the Play Store (Android) and App Store (iOS)
  2. The User will be prompted with a Pop-Up seeking permission for Location Detection
    • The User will have to grant location detection permission to proceed further.
    • If the User selects Allow while using the App, it would be appropriately applied.
    • If the User selects Allow Only Once the User will be able to proceed.
    • If the User selects Never or Don’t Allow, the User will not be able to proceed further.
    • In that case, the User will have to go to settings on his mobile phone and change the permission to proceed further. This will be conveyed to the User in the form of a pop-up.
    • Once permission is granted the User will be able to proceed further to the basic Sign-Up Page where FantomPlay will be taking only one piece of User Information to allow the User to proceed after Sign Up.
    • Users/Individuals from Restricted or Prohibited States will not be able to proceed further. A Pop-up informing them about the reason for Restriction or Prohibition will be mentioned. (Prohibited States will be geo-blocked from our end.
  3. The User will have to first Sign Up to proceed further before having any access to any features or services that are available on the App. The User is provided with two options for Sign Up– Mobile Number Authentication & Email ID authentication on two separate pages
    1. Mobile Number Authentication (OTP-based)
      • Once the User enters the Mobile Number, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number for verification/authentication.
      • The User will be prompted with a pop-up asking for permission to allow the system to auto-read the OTP.
      • In case the User grants permission, the OTP will be auto-read and the User will be allowed to proceed further.
      • In case the User does not grant permission, the OTP will have to be manually entered by the User in the field provided to proceed further.
    2. Email ID Authentication (OTP based) or (Magic Link based)
      • Once the User enters the email ID, an OTP or Magic Link will be sent to the mobile number for verification/authentication.
      • The User will either have to enter the OTP sent on the email id manually in the field provided. Alternatively, the User will have to click on the magic link received in the email and will be redirected to the App and proceed further.
  4. When the User has to Sign Up, afield will be made available to them where the User can enter the Referral Code, in case the User has been referred by a friend and has the referral code available. (This Referral Code option is available in both Mobile and Email Sign Up).
    • Users can enter a Referral Code in the field provided to receive a Cash Bonus as per the Refer & Earn Promotional Strategy.
  5. Once Sign-Up Authentication/Verification is complete, the User will be directed to the Personal Info / Verify Account Page
    • As soon as the respective Authentication (Mobile Number or Email) is complete, the system is programmed to generate a generic Username for the USER which will be visible on the Personal Info Page.
    • The User can change the system-generated User Name to a user name of USER choice. But this change will only be permitted once. Once the USER changes the Generic User Name and saves the information, this field will be locked and the User will NEVER be able to change the User Name.
    • The User will have to enter all the fields in the Personal Info Page before being able to access the Verify Account Page. This is being done to ensure that the details entered by the User match with the Verify Account Page
    • We will be having a business alliance with external vendors that are authorized to perform the verification process when the User is guided to the Verify Account Page after the Personal Information is complete
    • Currently, we are in the process of finalizing the vendor for verification
  6. The User will have the option to enter the details on the Personal Info Page and Verify Account Page or SKIP for now and proceed to the Home Page. We are currently allowing the User to access the Home Page from where the User can view the various contests that are available to participate. However, the User will not be able to pay the entry fee and participate in any of the contests until the User Registration process is complete.
  7. The Personal Info Page will have the following separate fields for the User to enter details. For an individual to be able to join by paying an entry fee, participating, or registering in any of the contests, complete following details will have to be provided
    • First Name (Mandatory)
    • Last Name (Mandatory)
    • Username (Auto-generated Generic Name prefilled)
    • Date of Birth (Mandatory)
    • Gender (Mandatory)
    • Mobile Number (Mandatory)
    • Email Address (Mandatory)
    • State of Residence (Mandatory)

    The Individual will also have to declare that the Individual is 18 and above and not a resident of the Restricted State.

  8. Verify Account Page
  9. The Verify Account Process is mandatory for the User/Individual to submit documents for Verification before Individual can join by paying an entry fee, participating, or registering in any of the contests. Individuals will have to upload the necessary documents– Proof of Residence, PAN CARD, and Bank Statement and submit them for verification.

    The following are the 5 Verifications required:

    • Mobile Number (OTP Verified)
    • Email Address (OTP Verified)
    • Proof of Residence (Aadhaar or Driving License or Voter ID or Passport)
    • PAN Card (Verification through Vendor)
    • Bank Details (Verification through Vendor)

    The User will be able to participate in contests once information on the Personal Info Page is completed and Mobile Number, Email Address, Proof of Residence (Document Uploaded and Verified) is furnished. Post verification is complete, the User can proceed to Add Cash to the wallet

    The User will only be able to withdraw the winning amounts from the contests when PAN CARDVerification and Bank Details Verification is complete.

    Complete Personal Info Page and Complete Verify Account Page stands for KYC Completed.
