Though movies and cricket are the two religions of India, the passion of fans has not been adequately recognised and rewarded, let alone be celebrated. At FantomPlay we took it upon ourselves to fill this glaring gap by developing an offering that would celebrate the passion and the knowledge the fans so proudly possess by providing them a platform to showcase their unique skills.
We aim to be at the forefront in pioneering the PlayTech category where the Play aspect of FantomPlay will always be the starting point for developing the Tech that supports it. Which is why we don’t consider FantomPlay to be just another app. We see ourselves as a playground where fans of movies, music and sports from all over the world can converge to have some FUN, get some FAME, and get an opportunity to make a FORTUNE for their passion and knowledge. Besides the monetary aspect of winning, FantomPlay seeks to break down the walls between the fans and their idols through money-can’t-buy rewards and gratifications.
After extensive market research and exploratory discussions among ourselves as well as with external subject matter experts, we zeroed down on CONTESTS to be the ideal way connect currently with fans. Our proprietary technology coupled with the extensive experience and knowledge of our panel of Quiz Masters and Contest Managers will always strive to ensure that our contests always test and challenge the limits of a fans’ knowledge + memory + speed of response.
At FantomPlay we are committed to ensuring that our contests always fulfill the following criteria: Our contests will always provide a level playing field where no single fan has any undue advantage except their own knowledge of the contest’s topic. To provide a challenging environment for the players to showcase not just their knowledge, but also their memory. The contests are designed to test how involved the fan is, and how observant they are of even the smallest of happenings on screen – be it a movie screen or a TV screen. To provide a leaderboard of the player’s standing that is determined by a timing mechanism that captures the time taken to correctly answer the questions down to 1/1000th of a second. This will eliminate any ambiguity while announcing winners.
